In the Fall of 2016, Associated Medical Services established a generous grant to fund student participation at future CAHN/ACHN conferences. This grant is intended to cover student travel and accommodation costs for the 2018 and 2020 CAHN/ACHN conferences.

For many years, AMS support has enabled CAHN/ACHN to provide first-rate conferences through the funding of the Hannah Lecturer. This recent funding initiative to support student travel costs to independent CAHN/ACHN conferences will facilitate the participation of students, who are the up-and-coming scholars in the field of nursing history in Canada, in our conferences.

CAHN/ACHN thanks AMS for its generous support of our organization and the development of scholarly work on the history of nursing in Canada!
